The Space Between

Group Exhibition

July 3 – August 15, 2026

Opening Reception: July 3, 6 – 8 PM

Featuring works by Maxwell Dunlop, Marie Louise Elshout, Armando Mariño, MASCH, and James Johnston, this exhibition brings together international artistic perspectives from the USA, Cuba, the Netherlands, Great Britain, and Germany.

Navigating the space between dreams, memory, and atmosphere, highly distinct visual worlds emerge: the quiet, cinematic paintings of American artist Maxwell Dunlop; the poetic, hybrid figures of Dutch artist Marie Louise Elshout; and the large-format interiors of Cuban exile Armando Mariño—works in which luminous light and artificial elegance oscillate between seduction and isolation.

These works are complemented by the delicate paper pieces of MASCH, which, through their lightness and clarity, capture the unique atmosphere of summer, as well as by the intuitive and fragile figurative paintings of British musician and artist James Johnston.
