Her works do not arise from a single photographic moment. Instead, numerous separately photographed or digitally created elements are assembled through a precise and multilayered process into complex visual worlds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Building on a classical photographic education, Winkhaus has developed her own sophisticated digital practice. Technology does not replace artistic decision making but expands its possibilities. Her works combine painterly density, staged spaces, psychological tension and a subtle dark humour.
